**WHEN SHOULD YOU BOOK YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOS? 🤍**
One of the biggest questions I get is, *“When should I book my newborn session?”*
The best time to reserve your **newborn photography session is toward the end of your second trimester or at the beginning of your third trimester.**
Booking early gives us plenty of time to plan your session, talk about colors, setups, props, sibling or family photos, and anything special you’d love incorporated. Most importantly, it allows me to reserve space around your **due date** before my newborn calendar fills.
You do **not** need to know exactly when baby will arrive. We use your due date to reserve your spot and then finalize your session date once baby is here.
A **$100 deposit** reserves your newborn session, with the remaining balance due **one week before your scheduled session date**.
Need a little flexibility? **Payment arrangements are available.** If you’re interested, just inquire directly and we can talk through options.
If you’re expecting a baby in **Yakima, Selah, or Central Washington**, don’t wait until baby arrives to start looking for your photographer. Booking during pregnancy gives us the time to create a newborn session that feels intentional, beautiful, and completely yours.
