Full cake smash sessions include more than just the cake. We start with regular portraits first so you get beautiful milestone images before the frosting comes out.

Then we move into the themed setup and let your little one explore, taste, smash, crawl away from it, or completely ignore the cake if that is what they decide to do.

WHAT AGE IS BEST FOR A SITTER SESSION?

Sitter sessions work best once your baby can sit independently and confidently without support.

CAN PARENTS OR SIBLINGS JOIN?

Parents and siblings are welcome during Studio Milestone sessions. Simply Baby sessions are designed specifically for baby-only images.

DO I NEED TO BRING A CAKE FOR THE CAKE SMASH?

No. The full cake smash session includes the cake.

WHAT IF MY BABY DOESN'T SMASH THE CAKE?

That happens more often than you would think. Some babies dive in, some carefully poke it, and some want absolutely nothing to do with it. We photograph whatever personality shows up.

DO WE TAKE REGULAR PHOTOS BEFORE THE CAKE?

Yes. Full cake smash sessions include regular milestone portraits before we bring out the cake and start the messy part.

CAN WE DO A THEME?

Yes. Cake smash sessions can include a themed setup. We can plan the colors and overall look before the session.
