LET THEM MOVE.
LET THEM LAUGH.
LET THEM BE THEM.
Your kids do not need to stand still and smile at me for an hour. In fact, I would rather they didn’t.
We’ll move, play, snuggle, explore, and give everyone something to actually do. I’ll step in with direction when you need it and leave room for the moments that happen naturally.
Some photos will be looking at the camera. Some will be messy, loud, sweet, hilarious, or completely unplanned. That mix is exactly what makes a family gallery feel real.
YOU SHOW UP.
I'LL HANDLE THE REST.
FULL GUIDANCE
Direction throughout the session so nobody has to wonder where to stand, what to do, or whether the kids are “doing it right.”
WARDROBE HELP
Guidance on colors, patterns, and how to coordinate everyone without making the whole family look identical.
REAL INTERACTION
Movement, games, prompts, snuggles, and natural interaction so your gallery feels like your family instead of a lineup.
FINAL GALLERY
A professionally edited online gallery filled with the strongest images from your session.
WHAT YOU WEAR
REALLY DOES MATTER.
Outfits can absolutely make or break the overall look of a family session. The goal is not for everyone to match. The goal is for everyone to look like they belong together.
Instead of putting the whole family in one identical color, choose a small color palette and mix those tones throughout everyone's outfits. Add texture, layers, and a few subtle patterns to keep things interesting.
Think coordinated, not copied.
COORDINATE
- Choose 3–5 complementary colors
- Mix solids with one or two patterns
- Add texture with knits, linen, denim, layers, or dresses
- Keep everyone in the same general level of dressiness
- Use neutral tones as a base and add color intentionally
- Choose pieces that allow kids to move comfortably
MATCHING TOO MUCH
- Everyone wearing the exact same color
- Identical shirts on the entire family
- Too many loud patterns competing with each other
- Large logos, neon colors, or distracting graphics
- One person dressed very formal while everyone else is casual
- Clothes that kids are uncomfortable moving in
Send me photos of what you're considering. I would much rather help you pull everything together before the session than have you stress about it the night before.

FAMILY
FAQ.
WHAT IF MY KIDS DON'T COOPERATE?
That is completely normal. I do not expect children to stand still and smile the entire session. We use movement, games, prompts, and breaks to keep things relaxed and get genuine expressions.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Coordinate rather than match. Choose a few complementary colors, mix solids with subtle patterns, and add texture and layers. Avoid dressing everyone in the exact same outfit or color.
CAN YOU HELP ME CHOOSE OUTFITS?
Yes. Send me photos of the pieces you're considering and I can help you decide what works together before your session.
CAN WE BRING GRANDPARENTS OR EXTENDED FAMILY?
Extended family sessions require more time and planning than a standard immediate-family session. Reach out before booking so we can choose the right session option.
SHOULD WE DO STUDIO OR OUTDOORS?
Both can be beautiful. Studio sessions are clean and controlled, while outdoor sessions give us more room for movement and variety. We can choose based on your family's style and the look you want.
